Help with food

Need help with shopping?

Across Shropshire local volunteer groups have been set up to help people. Find one in your area:

  • Search Facebook for Covid 19 Mutual aid in your area

  • Shropshire Council has compiled a list of mutual aid groups for Shropshire and border towns and villages

  • If you are shielding/ self isolating and struggling to get a supermarket delivery slot, ring Shropshire Council Covid Support Line, they may be able to help, 0345 678 9028.

  • Visit the Covid 19 Mutual aid website

Some supermarkets are now taking payment over the phone so there is no need to give a volunteer cash to do shopping for you.
