Over 10,000 Shropshire residents at risk of missing out on their £150 council tax energy rebate

Are you one of them?

If you live in the Shropshire Council area and haven’t yet received your £150 council tax energy rebate, make sure you apply by Wednesday 22nd June.

Residents that don’t apply by this date will not be able to receive the rebate via a bank payment, or a cash voucher; but instead, will have the energy rebate credited against their council tax account.

Eligible residents should have received a letter inviting them to apply for the £150 council tax energy rebate dated 17 May 2022. If you haven’t already applied- now's the time!

To get your £150 rebate you will need:

-the reference number from the letter you received (this is your online access key)

-Your council tax number (you can find it on your most recent council tax bill)

You can apply online here.
