Big Difference Scheme

You could get up to 70% off the average Severn Trent bill.

The Big Difference Scheme can offer a reduction of water bills to any Severn Trent customer with a household income below £20,048.08.

Households with child dependants may be eligible for an additional income allowance in excess of this amount.

The Scheme will assess your household income when you apply, and that assessment will determine how big a reduction you're eligible for.

Broadband and mobile tariffs

Social Tariffs

Social tariffs are discounted broadband and mobile deals for people on Universal Credit and other benefits.

These tariffs are delivered in the same way as normal packages, just at a lower price. Amid rising living costs, more broadband and mobile companies offer social tariffs to help customers on low incomes.

A large number of broadband providers now offer discounted social tariff products, with some offering deals from as low as £15 per month. This could represent a saving of more than £180 per year, which is around 50% compared to the average cost of broadband.
